Vintage 1965 Universal Statuary Plaster Cherub Bookends

This set of University Statuary plaster bookends is simply stunning. Each cherub is a true piece of art - and the lavish details make each piece look as though they belong in a museum! These collectibles will bring effortless elegance to any collection.

Each piece stands 6 inches tall and features an off-white coloring. The rectangular base supports a beautifully carved scene featuring two cherub angels resting with their backs against a pile of books. They are seated atop scrolls of music, so that you can see the musical notes dancing across the page. One cherub is holding a harp and the other a lute - you will find that their calmly content expressions are infectious! Each piece was created in 1965 and bears the following engraved on the underside: "Universal Statuary Corp. Chicago." They are also hand-signed by the artist.
