Hull Pottery White Swan Planter - Number 812 - USA - 8" Tall

This simple matte finished white Hull Pottery Swan Planter is a gorgeous example of their fine craftsmanship. It's finish is smooth as silk and even though it was previously owned there are no chips, cracks or crazing (crazing is fine cracks in the glazing of a piece). It is marked 812 - USA on the bottom. The swan is 8" tall and 9" from bill to tail. It has so much detail with the fanned out feathers on the neck and body to the regal arch of it's neck. Hull Pottery Co. made this piece back in the late 1950 or early 1960's, so you will be owning a true vintage piece. This little swan would love to sit on your kitchen window sill holding your growing herbs or a nice piece of greenery. You could even put him on your table and set a stem-bunch of grapes in him for color. However you chose to display him, this is an awesome piece.
