What an awesome vintage collectible piece this is. Not only does it appeal to Coca Cola collectors but to NFL Football collectors and fans as well. This coca cola bottle cap is from 1965 and depicts NFL Player Willie Wood.
These vintage Coke bottle caps were like collecting football cards, they were released with average players as well as all-star players. There were also Team Bottle caps that just showed the team logos. On the outside the bottle cap features a pixilated red football above the word "Coke" and the words "Caramel Colored" and "King Size". On the inside of this particular Coca-Cola NFL All Stars bottle cap, it features a picture of Willie Wood who was a Safety for the Green Bay Packers from 1960 - 1971 and was undrafted from USC. Willie was an 8 x Pro Bowl Selection and a 2 x Super Bowl Champion.
This cap is a great vintage piece of NFL Football and Coke history that is in good condition considering it's age. It is made a aluminum and is a collectors rare find.
