Vintage Boy Scouts Of America Wolf Cub Scout Book - 1970

Take a step back in time with this 1970 Wolf Cub Scout Book. On the top quarter of the cover of this vintage book is the word Wolf written in yellow on a red background and Cub Scout Book written in white, underneath. The bottom 3/4 of the cover is in yellow with four pictures; a green boat floating on a darker green river with a yellow lily pad in the top left hand corner, a collection of tools, a weather skinned Indian in his headdress of white feathers and a lovely picture of a beautiful wolf howling, perhaps at a full moon, on top of a rock. The back cover has the cub scout triangular symbol set into its red cover, with six pictures scattered on the lower 3/4 of the book. On the top row starting on the left is a wooden sailboat afloat on a river of blue water. The next picture shows several badges of the cub scout organization laid out on a bear skin rug. The third pictures different leaves that a cub scout comes across in the woods. The lower three pictures two of which show how to assemble a box kite and the finished kite flying in the sky. The last picture is of a red bird house and a blue birdbath with a yellow bird happily waiting to jump in, a symbol of the nature scenes cub scouts are noted for.On the inside of the first page is it's copyrighted date of 1967, #3207 in New Brunswick, New Jersey.This book was previously owned but it is in great condition.
