What an awesome vintage collectible piece this is. Not only does it appeal to Tab collectors but to NFL Football collectors and fans as well. This vintage bottle cap is from 1965 and depicts NFL Player Tommy Mason.
These vintage Tab bottle caps were like collecting football cards, they were released with average players as well as all-star players. There were also Team Bottle caps that just showed the team logos. On the outside, the bottle cap features a pixilated red football and just below is the Tab Logo. On the inside of this particular NFL All Stars bottle cap, it features a picture of Tommy Mason who was a running back for the Minnesota Vikings from 1961 - 1966. He was a 1st round draft pick coming from Tulane as the 2nd pick overall. Tommy appeared in 3 pro bowls.
This cap is a great vintage piece of NFL Football and Tab history that is in good condition considering it's age. It is made a aluminum and is a collectors rare find.
