This saucer was made by Mascot China Japan and features the Blue Danube patter. The pattern has a crisp white base with a blue floral pattern and blue trim. Mascot China made the Blue Danube pattern from 1951 to 2000 and this beautiful pattern is now retired.
The saucer measures 5.5" wide and features an indentation in the center where a cup can be placed. The edge of the saucer flares upwards sharply creating a bowl shape. The rim has a unique scalloped pattern featuring two large rounded scallops followed by a small sharp point, with this pattern repeating around the entire rim. The rim is also outlined with a blue line and the walls and center of the saucer feature a blue danube floral pattern.
