Here is a Collectible John Deere advertising tray from 2000 featuring a painting by Raymond Crouse. This tray paints the scene of an old red windmill with a green and yellow John Deere tractor sitting in front of it. The outside of the tray is framed in the John Deere colors Green and Yellow and inside of that is Crouse's picture titled "Breakin The Windmill". At the bottom of the tray in Yellow there is the John Deere Logo and beside the logo it says "John Deere". This is an awesome collectors item for any John Deere collector and would make a great display piece for anyone looking for a piece of country decor.

"Breakin The Windmill"
"Evening storm clouds are moving in...the dust clears. I see Grandpa's Johnny Popper pulling up to the well house. He has been plowing all afternoon. I can still remember the smell and the sounds from the day. I hear the whirl of the blades moving so fast. Then, just in time, Grandpa set the break on the old windmill, screeching to a halt, the tail moves around to the side. Oh, those were the days."
This is one of the many memories painted by native Colorado artist Raymond Crouse, who has committed his life to recording the history of agriculture. Mr. Crouse has been painting for 20 years and continues to portray the canging life of the farmer. The image is available now as an open edition print.
