The Hazel Atlas Glass Company formed in 1902, with the merger of the Atlas Co. and the Hazel Co. In its early years, the company made commercial food storage and fruit jars. By the 1920s, the company was making everyday dinnerware, including a colored transparent variety that is now called Depression Glass. This particular piece is a Prescut Gold Pattern Celery Dish that was manufactured by Hazel Atlas circa 1966. This celery dish is rectangular shaped with a scalloped rim. This dish is approximately 1 5/8-inches deep, 9 5/8-inches long and 4 1/2-inches wide with the Prescut leaf and 'X' pattern on the outside of the dish. This replacement vintage piece is a must have for collectors and others alike.
