This is a classic vintage Decanter that is amber in color. This decanter has a very wide bottom measuring 11" compared to 3.25" at the neck. The neck is has a beautifully designed flare. The stopper is an oversized round stopper that is in marvelous condition. The decanter is in really great condition for it's age and definitely brings back a feeling of it's era.
Decanters are used as serving vessels for wine and other liquids that may contain sediment. This item also makes a great display piece because of it's age and wonderful craftsmanship.
